Ashok Dandekar brings more than 25 years of experience in quality management. He recently retired as Quality Director from Fujitsu, where he spent 25 years. Prior to that role, he worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories for 8 years in Chicago.
Experience
At Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc., Ashok established the quality system. He helped develop TL 9000 implementation strategies and published papers on software quality, including co-authoring a book on TL 9000 implementation.
He currently serves as Convenor of the Communications and Product Support task group within ISO's Technical Committee 176, which oversees management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 9004, and related standards.

- B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India
- M.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, USA
